Upcoming
Sunday Services & Events

This Week's Sunday Service:
GHUUC AND THE CURRENT SITUATION

After the recommendations made by the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization, the UUA has recommended no in person services be held for the liturgical year 20-21. Our Board of Trustees has decided to suspend in person Sunday services and all other in person activities of the church through the end of our liturgical year ending June 1, 2021. We will re-evaluate the situation at that time.

However, with the wonders of technology, we will be offering Virtual Sunday Services via Zoom.

Virtual Sunday Services Schedule:

Most of our services begin at 11:00 a.m. Sunday mornings online via Zoom and GHUUC. If we are participating in a Shared Pulpit service, the service will begin at 10:30 am. If you would like to participate in our virtual services, the session opens up at 10:30 a.m., so please sign on prior to 11:00 a.m.

For the New Year our theme will be "Bridging the Divide, a time for Peace and Love"

February 21 - "Side with Love" service with Susan Frederick-Gray. This is a prerecorded service. It will begin at our regular time at our regular link.

February 28 - TBA

March 7 - "Covenant and Recommissioning"

March 14 - "The Year When Everything Changed" -
This was the moment last year when everything changed. Congregations closed their doors and went online, while schools told students not to come back from Spring Break. In the past year, what have we learned? What have we continued to be and to do? What are, as Theodore Parker wrote, "the transient and the permanent" in our religious lives, our spiritual selves, and our congregational communities? This is a shared pulpit service and will begin at 10:30 am. For more information please email us at gingerhilluuc@gmail.com

March 21 - "The Power of Prayer". This is a reprise of the Prayer service at Fire Communion with a few tweaks. This is a shared pulpit service but it will begin at 11:00 am as usual at our usual Sunday Service Link.

March 28 - The Shared Pulpit Service will be put on by Musician and Activist Ellie Grace. This service will begin at 10:30 am.

If you are interested in joining us for our Virtual Sunday Services, please contact us at:  gingerhilluuc@gmail.com for log on information.

May peace and good health be with you.
