Community ServiceSlippery Rock Community Activities
Ginger Hill participates in Slippery Rock Community Activities. In the past we have helped out with the Summer Lunch Program, Revitalizing the Playground at the Community Park, and some of our members volunteer with the Slippery Rock Library. We enjoy helping our community and are always looking for activities to participate in. Food Pantry Collection In the back of our church sanctuary there is a basket to collect donations of canned and nonperishable food items for our local (Slippery Rock) food pantry. |
Environmental JusticeThe Seventh Principle of Unitarian Universalism involves, “Respect for the interdependent web of existence of which we are a part.” Ginger Hill Unitarian Universalist Congregation is committed to educating and encouraging our members and friends to act in ways that respect and protect the earth—in our building and in our own personal lives.
Ginger Hill UUC is also a recognized Green Sanctuary through the UUA and we are certified Carbon Neutral. |

Anti-Racism
Ginger Hill UUC is very active in the action to Dismantle White Supremacy Culture. We work with local Anti-Racism groups to promote loving your neighbor and spreading peace. Our congregation also approved the Unitarian Universalist 8th Principle and helped to educate others about it.
